L’Auberge del Norte is fully stocked with everything for an active lifestyle from a 41ft lap pool, yoga mats and props, free weights, rebounders, flippers, snorkels, surf boards, boogie boards, to bicycles, bocce ball, volleyball, basketball, football, billiards, hula hoops, Frisbee and ping pong. There is even a small rock climbing wall in the garage. Decide if you want to walk, jog or run on the beach or hike the famous trails at Torrey Pines State Park. For a bird’s eye view of the coastline, try a tandem paragliding tour or a hot air balloon ride above neighboring Rancho Santa Fe. Bike around the beach colony or venture further on the famous Route 101 Coast Highway. Play golf, swim, tennis or rent a kayak, sail boat, jet ski or motor boat where the sun shines 266 days per year!

To Rest, Recharge, and Rejuvenate

L’Auberge del Norte is ready for you. With its two Jacuzzis, yoga room, steam room, dry sauna, massage chair, massage table, you might think you are at a luxury spa. Spend the day relaxing on the cushioned double chaise on the master bedroom ocean facing balcony or on the pool-side chaises or on the beach chairs by the ocean, reading a book from its extensive library or just watching the surf roll in and out. If you prefer chess, backgammon, puzzles, Bridge, Scrabble and other board games to wind down, we have a full collection and a proper card table with a view. To maximize your sleep time, the beds are incredibly comfortable with high thread count cotton sheets, down pillows and comforters. (Down alternative/hypo allergenic bedding is also available.) If listening to music is your way to relax, the estate is set up with the Sonos sound system enabling you to play your own music or music from its playlists remotely from your smart phone, ipad or laptop both inside and outside the house.

Entertain Children and the Young at Heart

L’Auberge del Norte is fully equipped for the younger generation. With an abundance of games, pool toys and floatation devices, beach and sand toys and balls, and a wagon to haul them to the beach, the kids will be well amused. If your family includes real young ones, there is a portable crib with sunshade, high chair and movable baby gates for the interior. San Diego is home to its world famous Zoo and Safari Park, SeaWorld, Legoland, Scripps Birch Aquarium, Balboa Park with its kid friendly space, science center and museums, and Belmont Amusement Park with its historic 1925 wooden roller coaster, artificial wave machines and other rides and attractions for the family.

Watch the incredible sunsets on the ocean facing balcony off the main entertaining area with a cocktail or glass of vino cooled in the wine refrigerator. Put on your sun hat and take off your shoes and enjoy a romantic beach walk. When the weather cools down in the evening, cuddle up by the gas fireplace or watch an old classic movie on one of the large HD flat screen TV’s with premium cable channels included. Sip your favorite bubbly champagne, while immersed in bubbly waters in the secluded Jacuzzi off the master bedroom or take a steam shower or sauna together. Treat yourselves to a soothing massage either on the massage chair or the massage table. Prepare your favorite delicacies in the fully stocked chef’s kitchen and then dance the night away with your best loved music playing on the Sonos system.
