The complex is a showcase for modern design and artwork. It is comprised of four buildings, three of which are connected by glass bridges and allow abundant natural sunlight to shine in.
Living Area
The main living area has an open floor plan with soaring glass windows and ocean views from the living room, sitting room, kitchen, bridges and entry. The balcony off the kitchen and living room is furnished with a Porsche designed BBQ, large granite table with shaded seating for 14 and is perched over the Del Mar Beach Colony and white water beach breaks, but remains amazingly private. Breathtaking sunsets, the sounds of crashing waves, a pool, two jacuzzis, a gas fireplace, multiple flat screen entertainment center with HD digital cable, Sonos, and a two story atrium with oversized casual lounging and pool table all add to the experience at L'Auberge del Norte.
Bedrooms
The five spacious bedroom suites have ocean views, flat screen TV’s, state of the art bathrooms and outdoor seating areas. This allows comfortable sleeping for 13 guests. Other than the master, there are 4 bedrooms with Queen size beds and private bautifully crafted ensuite bathrooms.
The master bedroom has unobstructed white water views from its private ocean facing balcony, king-sized bed, massage chair and bathroom. Its shower has a digitally controlled valve for on/off and water temperature selection in addition to a hand held shower wand and bench. The shower has a large window that opens allowing fresh ocean breezes to circulate throughout the bath area. There is a separate room for the toilet and bidet. The master bedroom had a full walk in closet. An intimate private jacuzzi, accessible only through the master bedroom is located on its rear east facing balcony. The lower level of the master suite features a yoga/exercise/massage room with a six person dry sauna and a separate steam shower. This room also has a full bathroom, cedar closet, and easily converts into a 5th private bedroom.
Kitchen
The gourmet kitchen has both center island seating for 8 and table seating for 10 and a retractable privacy screen separating the food preparation area from the dining areas. It is equipped with double 30” Blue Star oven with a six burner range, griddle & open broiler, Sub Zero refrigerator and an abundance of small appliances and kitchenware needed to prepare and serve gourmet meals. A two car garage and a separate laundry room are contained in the building across the second bridge.
Outdoor Living Area
The exterior of the property offers multiple options for entertaining, relaxation and recreation. Surrounding the pool are 4 single and 3 double chaises, both shaded and sunlit, additional dining table and seating and a large grassy area for having a catch, playing bocce ball, or setting up tables for a larger gathering. There is also a separate terrace for ping pong and a covered sitting area on the lower level outside the guest bedrooms furnished with Gustav Rooth award winning wine barrel chairs and tables. A separate gated service entrance and parking are perfect for catered entertaining.
